Don’t know what to do while on break? Well, If you’re a fan of korean dramas or a newbie then here is the perfect time to do some K-Series Marathon while on vacation!
Let’s start making some popcorn shall we?
It’s a beautiful feeling, What we got deep insideeeee…..
If you haven’t watch Healer then now is the right time! Or rewatch it again because of… you know… Ji Chang Wook
Who wouldn’t fall for this guy?
And besides, the story is awesome!
Ji Chang Wook plays the Healer, an expensive high-tech errand boy who does all secret missions for the highest bidder, and is known for his sterling no-fail record.
The story doesn’t stop there, and lots of twist and action with a perfect mix of romance. Am I right Ahjumma?
9. Sassy Go Go
The story of dance troublemaker outcast vs. the rich smart ass kids. It tackles about the importance of friendship and portrays issues happening in the Korean education system.
The biggest reason I guess is the romance part… This show really nailed the cheesy romantic scenes. It made me fall hard for the leading guy..
I mean, LOOK AT THAT CRINKLE SMILE. . .
I just can’t resist!
8. Angry Mom
This show is much more darker yet funny and tackles Korean education system way serious than Sassy Go Go.
Angry Mom, starring Kim Hee-sun as a mother who finds out that her daughter is being bullied and decides to take matters into her own hands as an undercover high school student.
Because filing a complain would be so hard in this messed up school.
She is literally Angry and you don’t wanna mess with our Mama here.
7. Twenty Again
Besides of Cha Hyun Suk’s overflowing dimples, This drama is one of my personal favourites.
It really gave me an emotional ride- like crying then start laughing and swooning in each episode.
It’s completely satisfying to watch our heroine to grow- bolder, decisive and confident, where she was once meek and submissive before.
And I can’t stop swooning over this guy’s dimples and his dying crush…….
But the main point here is the message of the drama..
Which the lesson here isn’t to go back and fix all the things you regret when you were 20, but to see of it clearly – all the past.. and decide on who you wanted to be, right now.
6. Because It’s The First Time
If you’re break is short and wanted to watch a short drama, like 8 episodes.. then here is a perfect drama for you.
cuz you know CHOI MINHO.
but if you want to watch another short drama, I also recommend Imaginary Cat…
This one is ooging with cuteness
FOR THE LOVE OF PETS! I MEAN MEOW!
5. Hogus Love
The biggest shocking drama for me this year.
I mean, from a simple romance comedy that turned out to give us some pretty deep subjects to explore.
The best thing about the show is Hogu himself.
The immature goofball that turned out to be stronger and more capable than anyone dreamed he could be. He turned out to be my favourite character and I love how he handle the situation better than the others…
And now this guy….
another reason why I love this drama..
4. Oh My Venus
Our beloved Daegu Venus who was once a beauty in high school and became an overweight lawyer in her 30s.
It’s cute to see Shin Min-ah played an obese but CUTE heartbroken lawyer.
And then she met JOHN KIM
Love watching these fools..
3. She Was Pretty
If you haven’t watch She Was Pretty then I guess this is the right time.
The main message of this show is the importance of beauty in the inside, not just on the outside.
Hye-jin proves that being yourself is what we need and her inner beauty is what standout the most behind her looks.
2. Six Flying Dragons
I never imagined getting totally hook with a 50 episode drama.
Not to mention this is a history drama! Which I have no knowledge about…
But watching it from episode one…
you will be hook!
Six Flying Dragons does not dissapoint the viewers because the goal of this show is to exceed your expectation.. and will make you a part of their history.
It’s like watching The Admiral 2.0… but way better!
1. Reply 1988
Another Answer Me series that really stand out among the rest.
I love how it gives each characters to shine and makes everyone lovable to the viewers.
It still has that mystery husband game but I prefer the balance of its romance, friendship and the importance of family compared to the other series.
But I think the ultimate question here is:
Are you Team Jung Hwan?
or Team Taekie?
Let’s watch it to found out….
Well, that’s the end of my post!
Wishing you guys a Merry Merry Christmas!
